Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Dhamma Path, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is offered by the Dhamma Path app publisher.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your device and sign-in method, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share passwords or OTP codes. You are responsible for activity through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

Permitted use

Dhamma Path is provided for personal, lawful, respectful use. You may use app features, download content where the app permits it, set wallpapers or ringtones, listen to audio, create on-device personalized statuses, and use reminders for your own non-commercial practice, subject to content-specific rights and restrictions.

Prohibited conduct

You must not:

Content and intellectual property

The app, design, software, branding, and catalog content are owned by the publisher or used under permission or license. Buddhist teachings and source materials may have different rights holders or public-domain status; their inclusion does not transfer ownership to you. Downloads are licensed for the personal uses enabled by the app, not sold. Any information you submit remains yours, but you permit us to process it as needed to provide support and app features under the Privacy Policy.

Device features and availability

Online content, notifications, alarms, downloads, audio playback, wallpaper and ringtone changes, status creation, calendar information, and other integrations may vary with your device, Android version, permissions, connectivity, battery settings, manufacturer restrictions, and platform behavior. Exact alarms and notifications are not guaranteed to arrive at a precise time. Features or content may be corrected, interrupted, changed, or removed.

Third-party services

Dhamma Path depends on Android, Google Sign-In, and Firebase services. Their availability and separate terms or policies may affect the app. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Dhamma Path is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device or purpose. Religious, calendar, meditation, and informational content is provided for general personal use and is not professional medical, legal, or other advice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss caused by device settings, connectivity, third-party services, user misuse, or unavailable content. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains limited only to the extent the law permits.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, security, or the service, or to respond to serious or repeated violations. You may stop using the app at any time and can request deletion through Delete Account.

Changes

We may update the service or these terms. We will revise the date above and provide appropriate notice for material changes. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
